I actually laughed when he said the Chinese person responds in "Chinese" well no shit don't they realise they are in China, and the national language is Chinese why would they respond in English 😂

@hellfreezer3037 true even if they did they're not really comfortable speaking in English. When I went France a few years back no French person would respond to me in English. But bugger city's or higher tiered city's would have more people speaking English depends where and when

@boydmccollum692 I went around 2015, same as you. i spoke No French i wouldn't say it was bad but I think the interaction was a bit awkward 😅 i had a gut feeling they knew English but didn't want to speak it but I still had fun

@boydmccollum692 i went to all tgr tourist destinations lol. Also, I don't think I had free roaming data for the EU then otherwise, Google Translate would have helped 😅 The city/tourist stuff was easy the shops were nice to help. It's just when you go exploring, that is where the 'help' kinda stops.i was there for 4 days 3 days to visit the tower, the pyramid building, Disney land, and 1 day to explore <-- sound GOOD, but not when u go off course haha
