  3. Not at all. The US ousted the Taliban after 2 weeks and took control of the country and held it for 20 years. We left in a disorganized manor and did not prepare the Afghan government. It's our fault the Taliban took over, but we weren't militarily defeated. And don't cheer this. The Taliban will no oppress and murder millions.

  7. It's just the military term for a combat loss. Injured or killed individuals can be called a casualty.
