  9.  @JPJ432  - Holy moly there are MANY problems with what you’re saying. Again, almost all of it being wrong. Here we go. Yes, the British and French proposed to other European nations to recognize the CSA officially. The British and French recognized the CSA in 1861. The Russians sending their fleets to the United States meant almost nothing to Europe in regard to their position on joining the war. The European powers of Britain and France were always considering getting more involved just up until 1863, when Lincoln officially announced the emancipation proclamation. And in regards to everything after “For some more context:”… All of this is just plain lies. Idk where you got any of this information because there are no credible sources to back this up in any respect. No, the British aren’t what sowed divide between the North and South. Not in the slightest. There was always tension that rose and rose and then broke. No, the British were not responsible for assassinations in the US government OR Lincoln. There is ZERO evidence or historical legitimacy to this claim. There were assassination attempts and successful assassinations against the Union government DURING the war, and yes, its possible Britain had SOME involvement. But by January 1st, 1863, the British and French were officially out of the game. There is ZERO evidence Lincoln ever made the claim the Department of State was controlled by British interests or that they had to fight against them. The British had little subversive control over the United States. I’d argue they had none actually, and there’s no evidence to show they had this power at all. Its very clear you’re just spreading misinformation. Stop it.
