  10. Mineerikv - sadly. They need to, instead of spending money to take away guns, they should spend money on mental health! People with normal thinking brains dont just shoot up a school. Mental health needs to be worked on in my opinion, not gun control.

  12. A Guy - when I learned about silencers I was actually surprised on how loud they were. In my opinion, silencers dont make the gun quieter, its more of a tactic to make the gun create a different sound making it more difficult to figure out if it is a gun if you know what I mean. Sorry if my Grammar is off. Its fucking 3 AM.

  13. Mineerikv - Im not saying they shouldn’t ban them. Im saying they need to be more regulated. You know the form you fill out when you are purchasing a gun to find out if you are legally allowed to buy one? I feel like gun stores should also have a mental health expert working there to find out if they are also mentally fit to receive a gun. It may be a hassle but it would prevent WAYYYY more deaths to have mental health evaluations on site when you want to buy a gun. Pass the written form and the mental health evaluation and bam, you get a gun. Where I was going with, don’t ban the guns all together is the idea of making it harder for the mentally unfit to get these weapons. The problem with banning all of them, is that now you are taking the guns away from the good guys, and not the ones who will commit crimes with them. Criminals will be criminals and not give up their weapons.

  16. History Buff - he was talking about 3 or more tf you mean. That is the DEFINITION of a mass shooting. But sure lets say 12 or more. Rifles are the main choice for that as they are easier to control and have a higher capacity magazine. HOWEVER handguns still have that capability and just aren’t the choice for people who want to commit these horrid acts. If we ban rifles only, handguns will be the next best thing IF they want to buy their mass shooting weapon legally. Thats what I fuckin thought

Obtaining fully automatic weapons is nearly impossible in this nation. Im not dancing around anything. Handguns are used in most mass shootings. That is a YES. Dont deny the facts just because you dont like them.
