  4. This was a false surrender by the Russian forces. That means the POWs are no longer POWs. The Ukrainians broke no laws of war here.

  7. Fun fact: under the law of war, these Russian soldiers set up a false surrender which is a war crime. Because of this, all of these POWs lost their status as POWs and therefore, forfeited their lives. Everything the Ukrainian soldiers did here was legal.

  8. The problem here is that the shooting was 100% legal. All these soldiers weee surrendering except the one. This is deemed as a false surrender of course. Unfortunately since none of the surrendered Russians said anything that makes them an accessory to the false surrender. One man made a stupid decision which got all his comrades killed.
