Making an AR-15 fully automatic is EXTREMELY difficult. Every shooting involving an AR-15 has been done with semi automatic fire anyways you nuthead

Automatic weapons are only useful at close range anyways. They are extremely ineffective at killing people unless they’re bunched up. Even then you’d use your ammunition up pretty quickly. Semi automatic weapons are simply more deadly.

@randymartinez5238 - So we can fight the government if need be. The second amendment is probably the only reason our government hasn't gone full authoritarian.

@randymartinez5238 - As long as our government exists, the second amendment also needs to exist. It's like going off medication because you feel better now, only to then be sick again because you stopped taking it.

@randymartinez5238 - The second amendment should allow that every weapon the government has the people should have. If you really think it's easy to get a gun you are very mistaken. Also, an AR-15 isn't even a weapon of war, as the version most commonly seen was designed specifically for civilians. You clearly have no grasp on the point of the second amendment. If anything, what could stop these shootings is arm EVERYBODY. Then the shootings would either never happen or be stopped immediately. Criminals should be afraid of the people. Not the other way around.

You can but it is expensive and EXTREMELY difficult. You need EXTENSIVE knowledge on how this firearms and all firearms operate to do this. It wouldn’t matter either considering all shootings with an AR-15 were used with semi automatic firing.
