First and foremost my heart goes out the family's & friends of the victims, this is a tragedy, God Bless us all
Newsome don't grandstand on the death of these people, you should stop the political posturing when addressing these tragedies. Everytime you look past solutions because your to busy with the blame game, you need to look in the mirror and figure out why your state is spiraling out of control. A majority of California's feel trapped by the cost of living here and those that don't feel trapped anymore are the homeless because at least now there free all the cost associated with trying to get by but all this stress involved with trying to live in this state is breaking down the communities and the people trapped here because they have no money to move out of this state, these people are stressed because they know there stands a very good chance if they can't flee California they'll be next wave of homeless people swallowed deeper into this abyss.
Newsome, your progressive stance on crime and the lawlessness is the biggest driver of the exodus out of California then Taxes then Regulations to put the final choke point on this mismanaged state like the decision to blame others for not doing enough, if you were really looking to halt.these shootings you would look at the state of mind of a lot of people in California and you would make available mental health care to those who are on the edge of society and need help, a lot of these shootings occur because of the stress associated trying to hold their heads above water hoping to survive this state.

If its not a bat, its a car
The one constant in this equation is people, there the ones that shoot, hit and run people over, its them who need help, thats all thats needed.
