  1. Did you have any prior warning about the flood from the weather stations as you'd probably been through enough with those short locks you maneuvered. The only time I've encountered Wild Birds feeding from my hand is St James park near Buckingham Palace off the Mall. People would go eat outside in the park in Summer and if you had a bag of seed the Birds would land on your head arms and hands up to 12 at a time. I used to go there when i was younger and loved to feed those Birds. It wasn't just Pigeons thank Heavens. Another year Vanessa and who knows what is yet to come. What a wonderful episode.
