  1. The civilians that are being killed in the Eastern Ghouta are those who have been taken hostage by the terrorists who used them as human shields. The civilians who are now able to flee are those whom the terrorists are unable to control. There would have no civilian casualties had the terrorists allowed these civilians to use the safe corridors out of the Eastern Ghouta.
