  1. {4} وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي الْكِتَابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا And We (Allah) decreed to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance! {5} فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ أُولَاهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَنَا أُولِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُوا خِلَالَ الدِّيَارِ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا مَفْعُولًا When the first of the warnings came to pass, We (Allah) sent against you (Children of Israel) Our servants given to terrible warfare. They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled. {6} ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا لَكُمُ الْكَرَّةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْنَاكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًا Then did We (Allah) grant you (Children of Israel) the Return as against them (our slaves): We gave you increase in resources and sons, and made you the more numerous in man-power. {7} إِنْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيرًا If ye (Children of Israel) did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves. So when the second promise will come to pass, (We/Allah shall permit our slaves/your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to enter the Masjed as they had entered it before, and to subdue your arrogance. {8} عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَنْ يَرْحَمَكُمْ وَإِنْ عُدْتُمْ عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا It may be that your (Children of Israel's) Lord (Allah) may (yet) show Mercy unto you; but if ye revert (to your sins) We (Allah) shall revert (to Our punishments): and We have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers.

  3.  Gerald Miller  There is noting hypothetical about Allaah. The divine word of Allaah is presented in the Quraan. Read the divine word of Allaah in the verses which I quoted for you and point out the terror aspect, if any.

  5.  Gerald Miller  Among the 99 Beautiful Names of Allaah is ْ"السلام" (Assalaam), (The Peace). Thus, Allaah condones no terror. Isslaam is the religion of Allaah. There is no terror in Isslaam. Isslaam is not the Musslims or those who present themselves as Musslims or are called Musslims by others.
