That is, a person does not escape from hateful matters by his cleverness, skill, keenness, and caution. Rather, he must only exert the effort. It is not possible for a person to be saved when he was saved from a disaster he faced because of his cleverness, skill, cunning, and the like, but because Allaah did not allow this to happen to him.
