  48. NDP sucks. Canada lost 3 million jobs because of COVID, tons of small business went under. There are so many restaurants that got closed because of COVID that i have been eating at for 20 years. I don't know how many people were evicted and foreclosed the mortgages while Canadian billionaires increased their wealth by $53 billion just in a few months of 2020. And all NDP have to offer is free prescription drugs and taxing the rich with a fortune of $20 or more by 1% in taxes. This is a joke! It's a drop in the bucket. There are no socialist parties in Canada. There are not there to improve anybody's lives - all they care about is getting elected and staying in power to get paid more same as Dems in the US. All their slogans are virtue signalling and platitudes. I spoke to NDP volunteers in the streets now that the elections are very close and I asked them if they support trickle down economics. And they all said no and I told them that they do becasue they support the current taxation. I asked NDP volunteers if NDP is a socialist party and they can't answer this question, one of them said that it's a socialist party and I told them they can only start calling themselves socialists if they at least do one of the following: nationalize gas and oil industry, nationalize telecom industry or put workers on board of directors of corporations.
