They have no teeth and none of the parties in Canada have teeth and none of them are socialists. You can't pursue Green Party agenda without socialist policies. I agree in investing in green energy but they don't really propose any radical changes. This is exactly what oil and gas lobbies want, they want an illusion that there's a party for renewable energy and environmental policies but they are completely irrelevant. None of the parties propose any radical changes and the status quo only benefits the rich. Just like the Dems in the US, all they support is corporate incrementalism. I used to be a member of DNP and the last straw for me was when a MP from Quebec was doing selfies with one of the White Helmets Canada brought from Syria without any votes or discussion. I sent and NDP an email about that and nobody replied to me. On top of being crappy on domestic issues all Canadian parties support Israel no matter what they do. I spoke about Israel with DNP volunteers and they said they changed their policies 2 months ago(2 months ago! they waited long enough!). I asked them if NDP supports BDS and they said no - then it's just more of virtue signalling and platitudes. Green Party supports Israel too. Last time I voted for Green Party because at least they run on UBI. I am going to vote for Green Party again this election. I am under no illusion that Green Party is going to win, it's more like a middle finger to NDP - it tells them they need to go left.
