  11.  @Bob-1374  In the past 25 years the wages for Chinese workers quadrupled and in Canada the the past 20 years the number of billionaires went from 18 to over 100. It's very simple where the money goes. It's not complicated at all. Have your waged quadruped in the past 25 years? I worked for the same company for over 10 years and my wages increased only by 2% a year which is just a cost of inflation but my stress level, my job responsibility, my targets have quadrupled or quintupled. During 1950s the US had the strongest working class. If you ever watched 'Honeymooners' or 'I love Lucy' there was a nuclear family; a husband worked and a wife stayed home and took care of the kids. The productivity increased by more than 1000% since then but now both parents work and they can barely keep their head above the water. Again, it's not complicated at all. The reason for that is because during Eisenhower who was a Republican president the tax rate on the wealthy was 95% and if you ever checked the Canadian federal taxes. The highest taxes in Canada is 26% on people making $220k or more. So what about people who make $500k, $1m, $5m and so on. I spoke to NDP people during election election season(that's the only time they are interested in your opinion) and they said they are against trickle down economics and I told them their tax plan says they are not. In Europe right now Iceland, Germany, Spain, New Zealand switching to 4 day week and their productivity actually increased. The workers in those countries work 32 hrs a week and they get paid for 40 hours a week. Yes, I am a socialist and a lot of people agree with me now at work. I have converted them because they will only benefit from what I am suggesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v5aqpYeh10&t=2s&ab_channel=TheTakeoverwithJustinJackson
