The war in Chechnya was against the CIA-backed Salafi Jihadists who did terrorist acts in Russia like the Beslan school bombing and hostage takeover in Moscow. Right now Chechens are fighting on the side of the Russians and they are very good fighters. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadirov is fighting in Ukraine on the side of Russians.

@blackstone777 Russia could do that if they wanted to but they don't have to. Time works in favor of Russia and China. Now Europe is falling apart, France is on fire and now that the US and Norway blew up the Nordstream pipeline and there are no reserves of Russian gas left in storage, the next winter is going to be a hard reckoning for Germany. Biden is sending cluster munitions to Ukraine because he is a criminal and because the US/NATO are out of 155mm artillery shells. All the tanks and equipment the US/NATO sent to Ukraine has been destroyed and they have nothing left. And if the US/NATO were to fight Russia directly they will only have ammunition for 4 weeks. This is actual industrial warfare like WW1 and WW2. The US/NATO can only fight against 3rd world countries, against sheepherders who wear sandals and ride bicycles and still manage to get their ass handed to them.

Yes, the US/NATO are sitting on the sidelines watching Ukrainian soldiers used as cannon fodder in this stupid counter-offensive when they were ordered to go across minefields with no artillery or air cover with Russia having 10-1 artillery advantage. Yes, all neocon psychopaths love to watch Slavs kill each other. Like Lindsay Graham said they would fight against Russia to the very last Ukrainian. @dspserpico WTF are you talking about? Do you have any evidence of the soldiers pointing guns of people? Of course not. There was no violence in Crimea, it was a peaceful transfer of power. Crimea didn't want any part of Ukraine after the US-backed Neo-Nazi coup in Kiev in 2014. Same goes for Lugansk and Donetsk, they voted 90% for their independence from Ukraine. In Kiev there were over 100 people killed by the Neo-Nazi Right Sector group who were shooting at both sides of the protest from the nearby hotel overseeing the Parliament Plaza.

@dspserpico Last time the Ukrainians used an unsuspecting driver who didn't know what kind of load he had in his truck which is terrorism and now they blew up a portion of the bridge which is not even used to transport the weapons killing 2 parents and wounded their daughter. What is this obsession with blowing up bridges? I don't get it. That's like Trump and his wall. There were 16k Russian troops in Crimea to protect the Black Sea fleet as per joined Russia/Ukraine agreements. Crimea had its own parliament and they asked Russia to protect them after the US-backed Neo-Nazi coup in Kiev in 2014. And that's a good thing they did because there was nobody killed in Crimea while there were over 100 people killed in a US-backed military coup in Kiev when mysterious snipers were shooting at both sides of the conflict. And nobody asks what Crimeans themselves want. They voted to rejoin Russia with 97% in 2014, and they voted for Putin in the presidential elections with 90% of the votes. There were polls after the referendum and Crimeans want to be a part of Russia and one of the big reasons is because the standards of living in Russia is much higher than in Ukraine. Ukraine was the poorest and most corrupt country in Europe and that was before the SMO. A journalist from NBC went to interview people in Crimea about whether they want to be with Russia or Ukraine and most of them said that they want to be with Russia and after that, the Kiev Nazi regime put that journalist on hit list on Mirotvorets website.

@youtubewatcher2 Kaliningrad used to be a part of Germany. Kaliningrad used to be called Koenigsberg and Germans used it as a launching pad to invade Russia since the Teutonic Knights order. It was annexed to the Soviet Union at the end of WW2. You need to see the Soviet era film “ Alexander Nevsky” about how the Russians in the Medieval times defeated the German invaders. The freshwater was free, it didn't cost Ukraine anything to supply it. So if Ukraine claims Crimeans are Ukrainian people then why punish them? After all the Nazi Kiev regime did to Donbass, Russia still supplied gas through Ukraine to Europe. Kiev Nazi regime used the money Russia paid them for the gas transit to build their army. That has been going on for the past 9 years. After all the nonsense from the collective West, Russia still supplied gas to Europe but all the gas contracts Russia had with Europe are expiring and Russia will no longer renew them.

During all this time since 2014, Russia supplied gas to Europe through Ukraine and Ukraine was being paid billions of dollars in transit fees which they used to arm, train and fund their Nazi battalions who shelled Donbass for the past 9 years with cluster and white phosphorous munitions. Russia didn't do it because 30% of Ukraine is an ethnic Russian population, so what is the point of going hard and heavy if they can avoid the destruction. Only later when Boris the Clown sabotaged the peace negotiations in Istanbul, Russia gradually increased the pain. They started to bomb bridges and power stations.
