There was no country called Ukraine before 1991. All Eastern and Southern parts of Ukraine used to belong Russia for centuries, they were given to Ukraine by Lenin and Khrushev. This is why those areas have majority ethnic Russian population.

If you are talking about Holodomor, it didn't happen in Ukraine alone, it happened in Russia and in Kazakhstan as well but MSM will never talk about and the term Holodomor didn't exist in Russian or in Ukrainian before Michael Mace came up with that little psyops scam to sow a seed of hatred between Russians in Ukrainians. It's the favorite game of the empire before its collapse was to use barbarians against other barbarians which they called divide and conquer. To them, all those people who were not were barbarians but it backfired during the Roman Empire and the time the "hegemon" decided to mess with Russia.

@NorthernChimp It was called Russia or the Soviet Union and if there was Ukraine at some point, they came begging Russia to defend them from Poles. The word "Ukraina" comes from a Russian word that translates as "borderland."

@rainbowodysseybyjonlion Russia tried for 8 years to avoid the war but the US/NATO and its client state Ukraine left them no choice. Russia tried to negotiated a peace deal back in April 2022 in Turkey but as soon Russia took its troops away from Kiev, Zelensky threw the peace deal in the garbage as Boris Johnson told him to. And now we are where we are.

@dirtyharry6297 OMG! LOL! Your history teacher must be turning in his grave. History of Russia goes back 1.2k years ago. Everybody is a Ukraine/Russia expert since February, 2022. Before that they couldn’t find either of them on the map and they still can’t.
