It, clearly, has something to do with the U.K. Starmer - don't you understand? An institution, full of flaws, an organisation full of faults, a top-heavy institution, struggling to cope. BUT - a part of our heritage and culture - that needs careful scrutiny and repair! REPAIR!!! What is this lousy government's plan to improvement - sell it off! Throw in the towel, accept defeat, state publicly (by their actions, not by admission, of course), that they haven't a clue how to fix what is broken? That is the message, clearly received by the nation, following this travesty! Absolutely disgusting actions. Everyone thought that the previous Tory "government" was truly awful.......but "this lot".........it is impossible to even think of a groups of incompetents, who could do worse than these nincompoops. Already, they have taken "government" to a new low. Can it get worse - with these intellectual half-wits (Rayner first in line!)? It probably will.   12. BEFORE the government mandated/enforced (American style) National Curriculum, schools had the freedom to devise courses appropriate to the variety of pupils needs. (Yes - the "minister" of the time HAD been to the USA and came back "full of it" - and what an "IT", it turned out to be!) The N.C. determined that "one size fits all".

  14. Ofsted has destroyed VERY GOOD teachers and very good school's with it's uneducated and underinformed "inspection" methods and subsequent irrelevant reports. Anyone believing in ANY Ofsted report is a gullible idiot. An inspection is a very short snapshot of a school, where teachers have to go over the top with unnecessary production of timed lesson plans, whilst some of the disenchanted pupils do their very best to cause mayhem, knowing that they can do real damage. Ofsted reports do not IN ANY WAY represent the realities of school life. A farcical waste of time and money and a real sinecure, for the "inspectors" - who do not need to have ANY teaching experience whatsoever.
