  2. What's best for the country is unlikely to be a candidate who failed first time and then, finally, got the job by default. What's best is someone with talent, ability, resourcefulness, honesty, integrity and vision. Sadly, there is currently nobody, anywhere, in the House of Commons, that fits these criteria.
