  3. Sprinklers onto a lithium fire is not a good idea! Perhaps separate car-parks for EVs with owners leaving the vehicles at their own risk, thus leaving real cars at less risk? After the debacle with certain Samsung phones, quite a few years back, (were lessons learned?), it is amazing that this battery technology does not include a self-extinguishing system. It's not going to be long before insurers realise the inherent risks of the current type of EV and start putting up premiums - or excluding "vehicle fire", from their policies.
