  1. You would be shocked at how many Fire and EMS personnel think the same way and claim that it's just a harmless "protection " mechanism for their own well being mentally. As if they can't possibly be expected to care about each and every one of the people that they see dying on the job. It's time to find another career if a person is that jaded.

  5.  @IhaveaDoghouse  Victim blaming is exactly what you did. The murderers are the ones that murdered. Their choice to get involved in an organization where that was part of the job. That is their fault. We all make choices. They have thrown their lives away for a stupid ass jacket.
