  1. Couture is a great wrestler and well rounded fighter. He knew how to deal with raided up pure wrestlers. Except for Lesnar of course, but Couture was pretty old by then and giving up about 50lbs in weight. A prime Couture vs. Lesnar would have been interesting.

  6. I hate the way pure wrestlers fight. They never have enough confidwnce to do anything other than sweep . Dull fights.

  7. ​ @jasonfaulkner2014 Tell that to Bas Rutten, Ken Shamrock, and a little later Vitor Belfort. All well rounded fighters. Even Don Frye, and a fee others had good stand up and ground game, and especially toughness and grit. The idea that today's athletes are superior is generated by today's athletes lol. Everyone wants to think their generation is the best.
