Rockets carry their own oxygen without problem. Rocketlab use battery to power the pumps for their rocket so power is also not a problem. The issue with planes is the atmospheric drag that slows it down and reduces range. If you can design a plane that flew very high to reduce drag as much as possible you can increase the range of a battery powered plane.

@HotelPapa100 When we are discussing about the limits of a technology then the best way to know about limits is to look at extreme cases. Rockets are extreme case where they have to carry their own oxygen to power their flight. The fact that they can reach orbit carrying oxygen tells you that carrying oxygen is not a physical limitation for range. The fact that there is a rocket that can reach orbit using batteries to power their turbo pump also tells you that power is not the limitation either. Finally what separates rockets from planes is that the rockets get out of the atmosphere as quickly as possible. This tells you that the reason for range limitation is atmospheric drag. It also makes sense without drag the plane should keep going without need for additional energy followings Newton's law of motion.
