You have not really solve the halting problem. Think of it this way. You have a program that you do not know if it will halt. So you run the program directly and check 10 minutes later if it halted. Run the same program using this counterfactual setup and the result is the same as running the program directly.

@nziom It is one form of naked singularity. Spinning black holes has a ring shape singularity and if they spin so much the ring singularity could expand outside the horizon.

Yes it has not gone down in fact it has gone up. The total energy of the observable universe is now higher than the total energy just after Inflation.

@JanVerny No running the counterfactual setup gives you similar result to running the program directly. Running the program directly and regularly checking if it halted also improves your confidence of the program not halting. The counterfactual setup did not do anything that transform halting problem into something computable.

@TranNgocHung96 If it can exist as a quasiparticle then it is not just math. Holes in semiconductors are quasiparticle that behave like a positively charged electron.

Thinking about it in bits is really the wrong way to understand it. Instead of thinking in zero and one it is more useful to think of it in waves. For example the Shor algorithm is basically a search for a specific wavelength (number) that fits (divides) another wavelength (number). So you start with a superposition of all possible wavelengths and you process it against a wavelength representing the number you want to factor and ends with the wavelength that fits in the other wavelength. The other algorithm works in similar ways but instead of factoring numbers you are now inverting a function.

@Syphirioth Isolation is a big problem in quantum computing that is why they operate at a very low temperature to reduce the chance of stray energy ruining the calculation. It helps that the result in QC is probabilistic in nature so you don't get a 100% correct answer but you can sort of extend the calculation to get a higher accuracy in the result. And there are error correction techniques that exchange the need for more qubits to combat noise. A qubit is like the surface of a globe where the south pole is zero and the north pole is one and the value of a qubit can be any point in that sphere.

@ytrebiLeurT kek look up oxymoron in the dictionary. A hole that is black is not a contradiction.

@FelonyVideos The complex plain is not a spatial dimension. The word dimension is so overloaded that it makes things more complicated. Fermions are rotors it is a mathematical object that needs 720⁰ rotation to get back to their original position. You can describe it as turning into another dimension that is why it needs more turns to get back to their original position but that dimension is imaginary dimension and has nothing to do with spatial dimension.

@JanVerny No it does not work the way you think it works. The photonic computer has to run the program to determine if the laser exits or not. The only weird thing is that the photonic computer works even if the laser did not go through the computer. But during the computation it is not known which path the laser goes. The which path information is only resolve after the detectors collected the photons and the results are compared. Before detection the photonic computer is running computation using photons that are fractionaly there and fractionaly not there.

@peoplez129 If space does not expand then galaxies accelerate away violating conservation of momentum. Either you violate energy conservation by introducing dark energy or you violate conservation of momentum by assuming galaxies can accelerate without reaction mass.

Of course infinity is not real. A set cannot contain itself as a member. Since the set of real numbers is infinite that means infinite cannot be a member of that set. Mathematically numbers are just labels to sets that share specific property. So all numbers are not real. Just like unicorns are not real but we have a label that describe it. We can even identify specific properties that unicorns need to have to qualify and be labeled as unicorn.

But why would one side be more textured than the other. What is the basis for a texture gradient?
1
Dark energy is created as space expands which in turn makes space expand faster. Seems very open that it can fuel a positive feedback loop.

We never observed a merger. What we observed is the ringing of space caused by the merging blackholes. This ringing falls off in a continuous decay of intensity. So the ringing did not stop it just became too faint to detect. Even if you observed the merging visually. Blackholes are covered by a shadow 3 times larger than its horizon so what you will see is just the shadow turning from two blobs into one blob.

@Berg-ft5xb Complex numbers are 2 × 2 matrix partitioned into equivalence classes. This paraparticle is derived from a different partitioning of a 2 × 2 matrix.

That's what generalized energy conservation is describing. But Dark energy wrecks the nice symmetric equation with a nasty +λ on your metric tensor.

@Syphirioth In superposition it is infinite but when measured it is only either 0 or 1.

There is nothing in the hyperloop that defies physics the only question is practicability. Can we build it cheap enough and safe enough. The issue of safety can only be solve by actually designing a hyperloop using the required safety margin and precise calculation instead of debunking it with rough approximation. Unless the debunker did proper calculation with precise error bars then what they have are useless because safety is defined in the details. The question of cost is a lot more complicated because the construction process and management matters a lot so until you build a full scale working hyperloop. We don't have enough data to calculate cost. Anyone that tells you hyperloop is not safe ask them to show how they calculated safety and the error bars they use in their calculation. If they are engineers then it should not be a problem for them to show their works and the referenced for the values and constant they use in the calculation. The space industry do this they have calculation for the probability of loss of mission for unmanned rocket and probability of loss of crew for manned rocket.

Piotr D. Which laws of physics do the hyperloop violate? This is a very simple question that you could answer immediately if I am delusional as you say,

@ayumikuro3768 How do you know that it's infinite or that it's a plane. The universe could be a finite 3 dimensional torus. We would not know. But this anomaly could hint that there is a direction in the universe that one side is more squashed than the other.
1
@ayumikuro3768 My argument is that we have evidence the universe has at least a direction. Sometimes a direction is enough for us to calculate a center. A simple example for this is a pendulum if you measure the vector of a pendulum with high precision to notice the curvature you can use that curvature to calculate the fulcrum, the pendulums center.

@traumflug Not all are constant. The expansion factor is not constant and it is the variable that corrects the equations to factor in the expansion of the universe. And to answer OP yes time dilation of early universe is factored in our calculation via expansion factor.

@Spherical_Cow Galaxies accelerating away from each other.

Dark energy is constant for a given volume of space so as the universe expands more dark energy is created. Where did that extra energy come from?
