  2. No we are not doing that. We don't have the technology to detect carbon base life on other planets remotely. What we are doing is detecting radio signature or heat signature that might be produce by an intelligent life.

This changes the curve because the probability value is the sum of the probability density and the new question is forcing you to have a different summation.
