  1. I have thought the same thing but I use it to justify that the universe is infinite because if you assume there is a boundary then there must something beyond that boundary. What ever it is that is beyond you can just redefine the universe to include that and if there is another boundary redefined the universe to include what is beyond the second boundary. You can repeat the process without end which is the definition of infinite. I was very satisfied on my conclusion until I realize you can walk around the earth without end but the earth is not infinite after that I give up and concluded that it is useless to waste my time thinking about the infinite universe.
