  4.  @magnacarta740  The only infrastructure they need is a shipping port. The microchips are fabricated in Taiwan, the display is made in Korea, the substrate is produce in Japan. All of the component comes via shipping then the finish product is ship to the USA. Apple handles the distribution while Foxconn handles assembly.

  6. The assets are cheap. Business relationship is what is more important. Just because the CCP can seize his factory does not mean that Apple will buy that stolen production. He can set up shop in Vietnam or Mexico and continue iPhone production the CCP will have a factory with nowhere to sell the product except for counterfeit iPhones.

  9. He is not their citizen. He can just pack up and leave. As long as he got Apple buying his production it does not matter if the factory is in China or in Vietnam. In fact he could probably build a factory in Mexico and reduce the shipping cost of iPhones.
