  1. Most likely to be unlocked in the next iteration. The problem is that current charger is not equip to charge at a higher voltage and you need high power voltage step-up in the vehicle if they wire the battery for 1KV. So the battery most likely is wired 800V but all the rest of the equipment is rated for 1KV and when Tesla has upgraded their charger infrastructure to 1KV they could then refresh the Cybertruck to a 1KV battery.

  2.  @brettmciver432  Yes but currently they are installing V4 chargers with V3 cabinets so it cannot actually supply 1KV. They need V4 cabinets to charge at 1KV and I have not heard of V4 cabinets in the wild. All the V4 chargers installed so far are using V3 cabinets.
