  1. They are extracting more money per user. But there is a limit of how much money an average user can spend. As you increase margin more and more. More and more user get priced out of the apple ecosystem. This in turn will force them to increase margin to keep revenue from dropping which will result into more user going to be price out. Then as user keeps dropping the network effect keeps dropping in value which means more user will drop out of the ecosystem.
