@mv-db4463 My point is that he’s not off the hook even if he did declassify the documents that were seized. The statute don’t specify that the documents have to be classified. It’s a serious crime if you have them regardless. So all you Trump defenders who are counting on that power to shield him from the law are in for a rude awakening.

@mv-db4463 Are you trying to say that Trump can declassify documents and error by avoid criminal penalties or not? If you’re not trying to say the declassification absolve him of criminal liability and it doesn’t apply to you. If you are you don’t understand the statute.

Well, a person who ignores the constitution isn’t no position to be talking about what you can get under the constitution. The constitution doesn’t say anything about immunity of the president to commit crimes.
