  2. ***** Not the track but it also means it can't be driver hard like that more than a very few miles before the car goes into limp mode to safe the batteries from overheating. That is why Tesla doesn't sell good in Germany as you can't drive it fast on autobahn. You have to stay in the safe zone to safe battery and range.

  3. Steve got the same desire for a Tesla as most Tesla owners who already have a few performance cars when they get a Tesla. Like them Steve has driven ALL kind of high end cars and is so used to them. Suddenly something new comes and he is excited. Steve, try to have one for a long term test. See how it is to live with in real world and try driving cross country with it and maybe to south Europe. And run it around the track as hard as you did in this video and see how many laps it can do before it goes in limp mode? A 40-50 seconds drive doesn't say much about the car.

  4. Aaron Melville It has actually MORE hp and torque and faster acceleration. On a short track it can run with them but as it's been tested many times before, the Tesla can't do more than one or two laps in full attack before the car goes into limp mode to safe the batteries from overheating.
