  1. Braden McHenry That car was like the last draw for some. It was humiliating for GM and Corvette fans to once again have this issue happening and having to exit the contest. On Corvette owners sites, there are a lot of owners complaining about overheating and GM doesn't offer them any solution. They are really frustrated about the situation. In warmer areas of the country the cars go into limp mode very fast if you use it on track or even drive hard on the road. It's much better in areas that are a bit cold.

  2. +AF A Almost nobody uses those cars on track. They are high performance LUXURY sedan/coupe. Regarding the overheating issue; The engine in CTS-V is the same as the one in Z06, which overheats just after a couple of laps and goes into limp mode. GM and the owners have big problems with that engine.
