  4. I had a German Professor, actually one of the Paperclip Scientists that came to the US after WWII. When you would go to ask him a question about a "grading error" on a test, he would often agree with the explanation and give you credit for it, but then would frequently find another "grading error" that he missed marking off in the first place, basically nullifying any credit from the other question.

  26.  @robertbennett848 Irrelevant. Most laws say that you need to stop when the sign is out and the lights are flashing. The kids aren’t actively getting on and off of the bus 7 seconds before it stops, and the car drivers have no idea when the first kid is going to step off of the bus. If you want to show otherwise, then submit your dashcam video as evidence.

I guess that it might be difficult to prove that you ordered the half-pound instead of the one pound, unless you could see at least what the waiter wrote down, but even then he could have written down the wrong order. Regardless, good restaurants would have written it off assuming that it was their mistake, but it’s possible that many people intentionally order the 1 pound and claim to have ordered the 1/2 pound.

  36. Wow, that’s crazy how DIFFERENT it is in Ohio. My itemized bill from the HOSPITAL (BEFORE insurance) last mont (gallbladder removed) was 10 CENTS for two Tylenol!!!! Maybe that’s because they were 325 mg rather than 500 mg.

  40. I had an overall house inspection done. I followed him as he performed his inspection, including opening the breaker panel. Now the basic reason to examine the circuit panel is to insure correct wire sizing for each breaker. The inspector found nothing wrong in the panel. We later hired an electrician to do some work, and they found that about 80% of the circuits were over-fused.
