  1. That’s good. I guess that it might be difficult to prove that you ordered the half-pound instead of the one pound, unless you could see at least what the waiter wrote down, but even then he could have written down the wrong order. Regardless, good restaurants would have written it off assuming that it was their mistake, but it’s possible that many people intentionally order the 1 pound and claim to have ordered the 1/2 pound.

  3. My brother ordered a hamburger (not a cheeseburger) and received a cheeseburger (he got more than he bargained for). He returned it and they told him that he didn’t have to pay extra. Problem is that he HATES CHEESE. Also, someone could have had a cheese allergies.
