  5. @ You are clueless. For one thing, the CAPTAIN who was sitting in the front right seat, couldn’t have said that the tracks are clear, and to proceed. For all we know, the truck could have had a mechanical failure and surged across the street. That is WHY INVESTIGATIONS are conducted BEFORE assigning blame/punishment.

  6. @ Yes, because they had to go AROUND THE STOPPED CARS!!! And my point is that a PROPER INVESTIGATION actually INVESTIGATES before coming up with conclusions. There were most likely additional CONTRIBUTING FACTORS that resulted in this happening.

  16. I’m sure that there is a contingency for gates being “stuck down”. I’m guessing that this was probably a regular practice to go past the gate as soon as the trains clear the road.
