Someone (Boeing) didn’t seem to remember the fate of the Convair 990...a little extra speed but significantly more to operate (and I bet to produce as well).

Basically I think that passengers would be more willing to pay for some extra room/comfort than to shave less than 2 hours off of FLYING time. You still have to get to the airport 2 hours early, then you can easily have an additional 1 hour for TTL, then another 1 hour + to deplane, get your bags đź’Ľ and go through customs. Not much total travel time knocked off.

So basically design an entirely new aircraft.

Airbus didn’t bid so it was a moot point.

In geosynchronous orbit, the satellites would be blocked by the earth’s shadow and wouldn’t produce energy 24 hours a day. Also, geosynchronous orbit above the earth’s equator is called geostationary.

The CERP addresses this.

The Max is going to be the most thoroughly scrutinized aircraft in the past 20 years.

How about a 767?

DUMB!!!!!! You would have to have HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of these aircraft CONSTANTLY ON STANDBY in the UNLIKELY (like 1 in 10 YEARS) event that an aircraft has an incident that is not catastrophic enough to cause it to immediately crash yet an emergency enough where they couldn’t land in their own at the nearest airport!!!! STUPID!!!!!

Wrong, the engines need oil after several days of flying.

Kg is a mass, not a weight.

Titanium is slightly more dense than Aluminum but 3x as strong, and the composites are even lighter.

You mean Kelly Tx?
1
Right, they would need to stick with a single deck which means that passenger capacity is like a 737-700.

You are ignorant

The A-12 wasn’t the Blackbird, it was the Oxcart! The SR-71 is the Blackbird.
1
The forward section of the B-52 is pressurized.
1
No it wouldn’t.
1
Look up CERP.
1
Engine oil needs to be replenished after a few days of continuous use.
