  2. Basically I think that passengers would be more willing to pay for some extra room/comfort than to shave less than 2 hours off of FLYING time. You still have to get to the airport 2 hours early, then you can easily have an additional 1 hour for TTL, then another 1 hour + to deplane, get your bags đź’Ľ and go through customs. Not much total travel time knocked off.

You would have to have HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of these aircraft CONSTANTLY ON STANDBY in the UNLIKELY (like 1 in 10 YEARS) event that an aircraft has an incident that is not catastrophic enough to cause it to immediately crash yet an emergency enough where they couldn’t land in their own at the nearest airport!!!! STUPID!!!!!
