  1. I think that others have hit on this, primary on duty cycle, smaller room, less time on at the same power. Also heaters that have “good” fans and oscillate can more effectively distribute the heat throughout the room. A heater with a small fan that doesn’t oscillate will begin to cycle on and off if there is a thermostat.
