China is more interested in Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean instead. Easier to give India competition in the Indian Ocean than against advance European technologies.

@arslanseitaly8364 China’s Naval fleet will depend on Russia for survival in the Arctic. Or China’s naval fleet becomes Russian naval fleet because there are no supply base for China. China has never been afraid of the U.S. If China and U.S. goes to nuclear war, It means Russia, India, South America, or Africa will be the next world power. This is still better than given the whole Chinese fleet to Russia.
