But, if Nepal only trade with India, surly Nepal will surrender to India by India blocking all access to Nepal. Since, trade option with China is possible, Nepal is in better position to balance trade. And India is less effective in blocking Nepal.

Hong Kong were leased to Britain for 100 years, very much like Sri Lanka to leased its port to China. Taiwan is not a country and a treaty were signed between Qing China and Japan after a war. But, the government of Qing China were intact, didn’t went through colonization by western nations like India.

  10.  @eddiecorleone5788  Correct about China! India today doesn’t have enough bargaining chips. So, India has to work for the U.S. until they get strong enough with bargaining chips. Today India is hoping U.S. and China gets weak through added flamed conflicts and overlooked India as a quiet good worker for both countries. Of course, the U.S. can crumble India economy with just a simple push. If India wants to outpace US, they will encounter trade war, inflation, and recession just like China.

  21.  @saanjanibaar8085  Manufacturing requires a large low wage labor force and energy. It has drained Japan. Now, China already realize the costs of world manufacturing to its population decline and energy use. Even with India’s large population of low wage workers, India still needs to prepare for extreme large energy use. It is not hard. But examples could be learned from Japan and China. Just want to wish you luck after learning the truth! 👍💵

China is buying direct pipeline energy from Russia, talks with Saudi Arabia, talks with South America, Opening join oil fields with Africa, Philippines, and Afghanistan. China is going every corner of the world to get energy needed to manufacture for the world. I would imagine India must follow China’s footsteps to produce enough energy for US manufacturing.

None of the these two Chinese government were conquered. These Two Chinese Government survive till today. The Republic of China retreated to Taiwan as a result of civil war.
