I had the intense joy of rescuing a grey goose after a storm. The wind had blown him into our yard with an injured leg. He was so friendly! He ate right out my hand and chattered away at me lol. I was able to pick him up and put him in a pet carrier and took him to a wildlife vet. They treated his leg and arranged for him to have a home at a refuge much like the one in this video! I named him Winston as he had cheeks like Winston Churchill haha. I was able to visit him at the vet just before he went to his new home and oh! He was SO excited to see me! Strutting around and showing off his healed leg. Chatting away the whole time. I swear he was thanking me lol
