  1. Giant Macaskill was from my province, Nova Scotia! There are many local legands about his amazing strength. In his 20s , he was a fisherman and one night there was a huge storm that swamped all the fishing boats near his village. While all the other men strugled in groups with ropes and pullies to turn their boats back over, Giant Macaskill calmly walked kver to his boat, picked it up, poured out the water and sat it back down. 🤣 the story goes , the other men were seriously pissed until he offered to do the same for them lol
