  2. @ I’m just now realizing I still misspell it Fruit Loops all these years later, instead of Froot. Anyway, I think the only reason they’ve kept Red 40 as an ingredient is to keep the iconic red color pieces, and that’s just dumb.

  3. Only some of the dyes, to the best of my knowledge. I eat a lot of Fruit Loops and would hate to see the product destroyed completely, if just those dyes could be removed or changed.

  4. @ The brand of cereal is spelled Froot Loops. There’s not even anything actually fruit about it and I think the original flavor came from a type of thistle seed that tropical birds like. I can’t remember exactly what it is, but when I worked at a pet store, we stocked bins of it and sold tropical birds.
