They're trying. They do have some Dems and Independents on their side. Many Dems are too conservative to allow change, even though it's a massive win for both companies and employees. Republicans will try to block it because it helps America and it's people, which they're 100% against.

The thing is these policies are massively beneficial TO THE COMPANIES. This greatly improves productivity of the workers, meaning the company is getting more done in less time, which greatly improves profit. It also drastically reduces the need for sick leave and medical benefit usage by employees, which saves companies a fortune. There is literally no downside to this. Any company refusing is literally choosing to be less successful and profitable. Honestly if I was an investor in a company that refused to adopt this I would sue them for violating their fiduciary duties (corporations are required by law to make as much profit as possible).

Yes. Every place that's done this, including the US, showed huge productivity increases. As well as drastic improvements in worker health (less stress, and less illnesses due to that, as well as vastly fewer workplace mishaps) which saved the companies a fortune by not having to pay out as much sick leave pay and medical benefits coverage.

@scratch7971 I get that cruelty is the point for Republicans. For corporations, all that matters is profit. And this is profitable. It's why in the US, the companies that did this for the study, ended up keeping it. Because they were making bank.

As always, it takes Progressives to do what's best for the country and the people. Democrats are conservatives that love the status quo. Republicans are traitors that want to burn the Constitution to ashes, destroy America, and enslave it's people in the fascist authoritarian dictatorship they're openly fighting for. When it comes time to vote (from local official to president): Vote Progressive If there's no Progressive, vote Democrat to at least minimize the damage to the country If there's no Democrat, vote left leaning Independent If there's just Republican filth, then write in the name of a local Progressive The most important part is voting AGAINST Republican traitors. The party must be abolished completely for America to survive.

@ltfl127 There will always be fascists like Musk who just want to make people suffer and are happy to run their companies into the ground just to accomplish that. Mostly because when one company fails they just buy a new one. These people have more wealth than god and can do whatever they want, so pissing away billions just to be an asshole is fine for them. But any real company that is trying to run well, will adopt this. Because there's absolutely no downside, and massive benefits to all involved.
