My wife goes to Sheridan College Trafalgar campus. It's an amazing school. And from what I've read, the teacher in question (who was misnamed by reports) was doing this as a form of protest against discrimination against trans people. There's people who have made idiotic complaints that trans people are "unfit" to teach certain classes, and others have made idiotic arguments about "if you let a trans person teach shop, they'll cut their fake boobs off." Trying to pretend that it's not their hatred of trans people, but "safety concerns." In response, the teach wore gigantic fake breasts and a long wig to show how idiotic and false those arguments are. Able to handle all the machines without any issues.

@shanecarmichael8044 She's there all the time and gets the local news. Which has a lot more info than what Lil Tuck Tuck had in his bigoted rant.

@FrozEnbyWolf150 Actually, the teacher in question IS trans. But they had no intention of getting breasts like that. But they got a lot of flack from anti-trans people complaining that trans-women can't be shop teachers because they'll catch "fake boobs" in the machinery, rather than just admitting they don't want trans teachers. So the teacher proved was an idiotic statement and isn't something that would actually happen. I get the intent of the teacher. I just don't think it came across as well as it could have. Also, perhaps if they used fake boobs without the nipples, that might have worked better, because school regulation says you can't wear clothing so tight that your nipples or groin are displayed. So if they just used rubber balls or something instead of the fake breasts to show how you DON'T get stuff caught in machines just because it's there, that might have gone over better.

@Don.M. And he was proving that even with such over the top proportions, it's not an actual issue. So that if a shop teacher does happen to transition, them simply having breasts won't magically get them caught in the machinery.

@FrozEnbyWolf150 I agree. I mean, I think they were trying to show that even if you went to incredible extremes, it wouldn't result in the nonsense that the bigots try to claim would happen. Which means someone who does have more standard proportions clearly wouldn't be in any sort of danger.

Actually, from reports, the teacher was doing it in protest of anti-trans narratives people have been pushing. There's anti-trans people claiming that trans women shouldn't teach shop class (and other "manly" courses) not because they hate trans people but because of "safety concerns" that trans people will get fake boobs caught in machines and blah blah blah. Apparently this teacher, who is trans, but doesn't have giant boobs, wore these to show what bullshit those anti-trans narratives are. They were able to use all the machines without issue. Now, are there other ways this could have been done? Definitely. But it was effective and got attention, which was the point.

@barcelonachair6487 They were making a point. Now, personally, I think they went too far with it. But I can understand what they were trying to prove. When you have bigots saying trans women can't be shop teachers because they'll get boobs caught in machines... this stunt showed how idiotic a lie that is, and how those people simply don't want trans folks around. But I do think there's other ways to send that message. This seemed... extreme, even if well intentioned.

@therationalnational Most people just have an issue with watching his white supremacist hate filled filth. They'd prefer you simply read out quotes of what he has said instead of showing clips of him.
