This is why Canada is crumbling. Canadians elect the Liberal Party. Things get a little bit better, but not enough for most people, who complain about not enough being done. So then Canadians vote Conservative, expecting them to fix things. Then the Conservatives make things much worse. So then Canadians vote Liberal, expecting them to undo the damage. And nothing really changes, so Canadians get upset. So then Canadians vote Conservative. Repeat until the country falls to fascism. Canadians need to BOYCOTT BOTH MAJOR PARTIES. Vote NDP. Or hell, piss your vote away with one of the joke parties with no real policies. But DO NOT VOTE LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE.

That's why I vote NDP.

NDP. If you can't vote for them (because you don't want better wages, more jobs, better healthcare, lower taxes, etc...) then vote Liberal and keep the status quo.

@ben5154 First past the post is an idiotic system.

Canada, just like the US, is falling to fascism thanks to the complete and total failure of national media.

@tomr6144 I'd still rather have the "least worst" option even if none are great. But a lot of the NDP bills and policies are great. The real problem is that a lot of their leaders are terrible.

@tomr6144 Singh makes promises, but doesn't know how to deliver. There are NDP members on the ground who know what they're doing, and do it well. The issue is that Singh is a joke, and is taking away from their accomplishments with his grandstanding.

@tomr6144 That's the issue. The people working under him ARE doing a great job. But then Singh keeps going out and grandstanding, making empty promises and then expecting the people doing the actual work to magically get things done. "We'll cut grocery prices in half!" Um... how? Where's the legislation for it? And when you look, you see that the NDP is getting legislation to cap corporate price gouging... but it won't magically slash prices in half. If he'd stop trying to be the center of attention and just say "We capped corporate greed, which will stop them endlessly ramping up grocery costs. If you give us more power we'll be able to cut prices even more!" that would be great. The NDP needs a much better representative.
