As long as there is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for any of this nonsense, it will continue, and only get worse. Sure, he gets called out by his own party and hundreds of groups... and he spits in their face and laughs because they will do NOTHING about it. They could file lawsuits against him, but they won't. So he'll dick about in Congress for the next two years.

@p_e_t_e Well, that's what I mean. He can't be forced out, because no Republican would vote for it. Only Democrats. So getting two thirds is an impossibility. Meanwhile if a Democrat did something wrong, almost the entire Democrat party would vote to remove them, as would every single Republican.

It's all a show. The only reason they're PRETENDING to give a crap, is because he got caught scamming the donors. That's it. He humiliated the rich. Which is a capital offense. But what did they do? Demand he resign. To which he say FU. And then McCarthy gave him committee assignments, proving he's there and he's protected. So NONE of this has ANY relevance.

Why would he care? There is ZERO consequences for his lies. There's NEVER any accountability for the open crimes and treason of Republicans. Why the hell would they EVER care about anything? They can commit any crimes they want, and nothing will ever happen to them.
