@Metal0sopher Except that's in absolutely no way "cancel culture". It's called accountability. If you go in to work, and instead of working abuse your co-workers, kill time in the cafeteria, and steal documents... you get fired. You're not cancelled, you're facing accountability for your actions. When you violate the terms of service for a social media site and they ban you, you're not being cancelled. You broke the rules. Rules which YOU AGREED TO, which state that if you violate them you get banned from the site. Accountability. Chappelle isn't being cancelled. He's got multiple Netflix specials making him millions of dollars. Even if Netflix decides they don't want to have him make more specials, that's a consequence of his actions. It's not "cancel culture".

The people who scream loudest about being "cancelled" and silenced... do so on a dozen different networks, on many social media sites, in newspaper articles, in congressional meetings, etc... It's all bullshit. Nobody has been cancelled. The fact that you can cry about "being cancelled" is proof that you aren't. They're just whining because they're actually being held accountable for a change, and they're not used to it. They want to be able to commit crimes and violate the rules and do so without consequence.
