It's insane that leaders around the world want to use any words they can OTHER than "cease fire". They want a pause, a delay, a temporary stop, etc... but NEVER the dreaded cease fire.

I have lots of family in Israel who take part in the protests. These protests calling for a ceasefire have getting a little bit of attention in the west, but there's been CONSTANT protests against Netanyahu's fascist regime for YEARS. And not a word about them gets reported in the west.

@holysaby I don't have any myself, but I'll see if some of my family can get some taken. They're usually focused on the protest, and trying to not be beaten senseless by Netanyahu's goons for protesting.

While it's disgusting that all these politicians refuse to say cease fire, at least they ARE pushing for a "pause" or whatever bullshit term they want to use. Biden has talked about how Israel needs to pause for humanitarian aid, or the US might have to reconsider funding to Israel.

@Mapleson I agree, the important thing is stopping the slaughter. It would just be nice if they'd stop playing these idiotic political games and just be real about the situation.
