I'm Russian and the United States under Ronald Reagan, cut a deal with Gorbachev, the president of Russia at the time, to leave Afghanistan and they were both friends, and Russia capitulated! We didn't run, like the United States and leave 85 billion dollars worth of equipment in Afghanistan, along with the largest Air Base in the world 🌍, which China has now! China sits on the border of Afghanistan!
