I doubt the framers couldn't imagine creations and inventions not available in their time. Remember, they were enjoying some of the inventions of their day.

So in 1791 when a criminal was tracked down, only one person was tracking down the criminal? Or were there organized search parties and posses being used to track down and locate a criminal? Not much difference from a cell towers. The roads of 200 years ago were the communications network. A search warrant was needed to enter a home to search for the criminal inside as you need one to search the information a criminal maybe hiding on the cell phone. Affirmative action became problematic when Progressives started doing because of their multi level morality. Some affirmative action is okay when it suits their purpose yet ignores how the process legally holds back others. Business people can operate as a group to make an argument in support or against a policy and they have been doing so since the beginning.

@richardellis8076 If you have to prop up one race with affirmative action, lowering of academic standards so they can play, affirmative action may be a cover for poorer performance.

No companies, no jobs. No jobs, no need for unions.

Ask the auto unions. As wages went higher, people stopped buying and auto union employees became ex employees.

@Metonymy1979 How did Toyota get so big? By selling even more expensive cars?

No shareholders, no business, no jobs. Shareholders do not like to work for free either.

Unions can only work if customers find their products and services worth it. Keep in mind even high paid union workers like bargains and cheap goods :)

@draxthemsklonst Many bonuses are not cash payouts but stock. Even if bonuses were ended there would not be a huge pile of extra cash available. Executive salaries make a nice talking point for Lefties but it is the day to day expenses a company has that makes the difference.

The important thing will be if customers are willing to pay higher shipping fees when they order on line. UPS will announce their new rate increases in Sept or October. If the rate increases are high enough, this could also invite lower cost competition into the package delivery business. Who knows? UPS might be the reason brick and mortar stores may make a comeback as it will be cheaper to drive to a local store than pay high shipping fees on online orders.

@annebelgard6723 The only lost package or damaged packages I had was with UPS.

@josephsimmons9241 Amazon can do that.
