  1. MasterCard can drop you. MasterCard can tell Patreon they are no longer allowed to process MasterCard charges. If MasterCard offers you a suggestion, you better take it as a command or a threat. I should add, Visa and MasterCard are virtually the same company, like Oldsmobile and Chevrolet are to General Motors. It is safe to assume if Mastercard implements some policy, Visa will follow.
